The Knot gives every couple a wedding website — with your event details, RSVP form, registry, photos, and travel info. A QR code on your invitations lets guests access everything with one scan instead of typing a URL.

Get Your Knot Website URL

  1. Log into The Knot
  2. Go to your wedding website
  3. Your URL is in the format: https://www.theknot.com/us/yournames
  4. Or check Settings → Website URL for your custom address

If you set a custom domain, use that instead.

Create the QR Code

  1. Go to qree.app
  2. Paste your Knot website URL
  3. Customize colors to match your wedding theme
  4. Download as PNG (for digital invitations) or SVG (for print)

When scanned, guests see your wedding website with all the details: date, venue, RSVP form, registry, accommodation info, and schedule.

Where to Put It

Save-the-date cards. Guests scan to see the full event details months before the invitation arrives.

Wedding invitations. On the invitation itself or on a separate insert card. "For details and RSVP — scan here." This replaces (or supplements) the printed RSVP card.

Rehearsal dinner invitations. A QR linking to the rehearsal dinner details on your Knot site.

Day-of signage. At the venue entrance: "Welcome! Scan for schedule, menu, and WiFi." Link to your Knot site's day-of timeline.

Guest welcome bags. For destination weddings — a card in the welcome bag with QR linking to local recommendations and event schedule.

RSVP via QR

The Knot's RSVP feature means one QR can handle RSVPs. Guest scans → lands on your site → clicks RSVP → confirms attendance. No mailing response cards, no phone calls, no texts.

Track RSVPs directly in The Knot dashboard. You'll see who's coming, dietary preferences, and plus-one names — all collected automatically.

Tips

Test with a friend. Send the QR to someone, have them scan and RSVP. Confirm the RSVP shows up in your Knot dashboard.

Include the URL as text too. Older relatives may not know how to scan QR codes. Print theknot.com/us/yournames in small text below the QR.

Match your wedding aesthetic. Customize QR colors to match your invitation design. A pink-and-gold invitation with a black-and-white QR looks inconsistent.

One QR for everything. Your Knot website has RSVP, registry, directions, accommodations — all on one site. One QR covers it all.
