You're promoting an event — a workshop, conference, concert, meetup. The event is on Eventbrite. A QR code on your poster, flyer, or social media takes people directly to the registration page. Scan → register → done.

Get Your Eventbrite Event Link

  1. Log into Eventbrite
  2. Go to your event
  3. Copy the event URL from the address bar: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/your-event-name-tickets-123456
  4. Or click "Share" → Copy link

Create the QR Code

  1. Go to qree.app
  2. Paste the Eventbrite URL
  3. Customize colors — Eventbrite's brand color is #F05537 (orange)
  4. Download

When scanned, the phone opens the Eventbrite event page where visitors can see details, choose ticket type, and register.

Where to Use It

Posters and flyers. The classic use — a poster in a coffee shop, office lobby, or community board with a QR linking to registration. "Register now — scan here."

Social media. Post the QR image on Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook. Followers screenshot and scan, or click the link in the caption.

Email invitations. Include the QR in the email body. Recipients on a computer scan with their phone. Recipients on a phone tap the link.

At the venue. For recurring events: a permanent QR sign at the venue linking to your next event. "Enjoyed tonight? Register for next month."

Business cards. Event organizers: a QR on your card linking to your next event or your Eventbrite organizer profile.

Presentation slides. Speaking at a conference? Last slide: "My next workshop — scan to register."

Free vs Paid Events

The QR works the same for both. For free events, guests scan → click "Register" → done. For paid events, guests scan → select ticket → complete payment on Eventbrite.

Tips

Use the right URL. Eventbrite has several link formats. Use the public event page URL (starts with eventbrite.com/e/), not the manage/edit URL.

Dynamic QR for recurring events. If you host monthly meetups, use a dynamic QR code. After each event, update the link to the next one. The poster stays the same.

Track registrations. Eventbrite shows registration source data. Use a UTM parameter on the URL (?utm_source=qr&utm_medium=poster) to see how many registrations came from the QR specifically.

Test the full flow. Scan the QR → open Eventbrite → register for the event. Confirm the ticket/confirmation email arrives.
